Cultural Arts School

Morning Tai Chi Class: Lessons taught by Sensei Tony Yan every Sunday at 10:30am in the WCHS cafeteria. This low-impact sport brings long term health benefits, and you can practice it well into your senior years. Sensei Tony loves to show us the way! So spread the word, and bring grandparents, friends, and neighbors with you.

Overview of the Cultural Arts School

In addition to the language program, Rockville Chinese School also has the Cultural Arts School.

The Cultural Arts School offers an assortment of cultural arts -- music, dance, fine arts, and sports programs throughout the day for students and parents.

The cultural arts classes include Gong fu martial arts (kung fu), Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Arts & Crafts, Chinese Opera, Chinese Folk Dancing, Tai-Chi, and Karate.

RCS has an adult chorus, the well-known Harmony Resonance Chorus.

Sports programs include instruction in tennis, volleyball and basketball.
